Lesson 3 Dialogue Assignment
PART 1: If you’ve practiced the phrases from Lesson 3 (check out pages 133-141 of the book), you’re ready to see these phrases in a real-life context.
PART 2: You should also practice these sentences, with correct pronunciation.(All of these sentences are from the dialogue above, so you can hear how they’re pronounced in the video.) We haven’t learned the meaning of every word yet, but it’s important to start pronouncing whole sentences, even before understanding them.

- You have to do her a favor: Le tienes que hacer un favor.
- Can I do something: ¿Puedo hacer algo?
- If the two are as one: Si las dos son como una.
- I am here, you are here… all of us are here: Yo estoy aquí, tú estás aquí… todos estamos aquí.
- What was, now is not: Lo que era ya no es.
- And because of this she can’t be in the house: Y por esto ella no puede estar en la casa.
- For a while Isabella hasn’t been well: Por un tiempo Isabella no ha estado bien.
