I’m Interested in this technique – because I teach Spanish to homeschoolers. I think it could work. But I have a little trouble with the example you give here. Someone is one of several meanings of alguno, I don’t think it is the most common. I would try to attach my memonic to the most common meaning. Also in you course are you going to teach the most frequently used vocabulary first?
You’re right, there are multiple meanings, but they center around the idea of “some”, “a person”, or “somebody”. The mnemonic helps you remember the general idea of the word, and the nuances can be taught once that is down.
